Earlier this month we headed to Colorado to visit some great friends and enjoy a winter getaway in the mountains and snow. On our first afternoon in the Rocky Mountains, Dan and I took a snowmobile tour up along the continental divide while our Colorado hosts got in some skiing. It was a gorgeous day at the lower elevations, but once we were above treeline, the temperatures dropped a lot, and the wind was fierce. But the breathtaking beauty kept your mind off the weather conditions for sure! We had great views of the Winter Park ski area as well as the Fraser Valley. We rode tandem so I had both hands free to take some photos along the way!
