We moved to central Pennsylvania last July - a stones throw from State College. Spring semester not only brings beautiful flowering trees, shrubs and flowers but typically all kinds of activity on and off campus. Except.this.year. We all feel the impact that covid-19 has on us, the nation and the world. Throughout the month of April, I included periodic walks on campus as a change of scenery to my typical hikes in nearby parks and walking trails. While the PSU campus is just gorgeous (and photogenic!) in spring, this year it was also very sad. Missing the 46,000 undergrads who should be filling the greatoutdoors of the PSU campus.
